This video for “Coldest Winter” has supposedly been on the internet almost 2 weeks, but most of us just got wind of it today.

“Coldest Winter” is a single off of Kanye’s 2008 album 808s & Heartbreak.

I love this video and if you read the lyrics they’re heartbreaking. Because it’s Kanye the leading lady has huge boobs. Her face is beautiful and she doesn’t overdo the emotions.

I think Kanye’s videos are best when he’s not in them. The message comes through better without him. There’s something about his personality that makes him seem insincere, but his lyrics always seem truthful.

Video was directed by Nabil Elderkin. “Coldest Winter” is available at iTunes for $1.99.

I was going to ignore the whole John Mayer opening his big fat mouth in a Playboy interview because he’s a douche and he was being his usual douchey self x 100.

The fallout from Mayer’s interview made me realize he’s exactly like Kanye West.

People had long tolerated Kanye and Mayer’s “quirky” personalities because they were viewed as “talented”. Somewhere along the way their personalities and behavior became more aggressive and mean-spirited for whatever reason.

The mainstream got fed up with Kanye after the whole jumping on stage during Taylor Swift’s acceptance speech at the MTV Music Awards and now the mainstream is is fed up with Mayer.

I’d like to say I’m surprised by Mayer – except I’m not. If you follow his twitter account it’s pretty easy to figure out he has some major issues in my opinion – just like Kanye.

Mayer and West need to shut up and stick to making music. Their antics are going to overshadow whatever musical legacy they hope to leave. It already has.

Mayer’s “apology” during a Nashville concert on Wednesday. Mayer speaks around 4:10 . I didn’t hear any apology really. It’s disturbing how he views himself and how people may or may not be reacting and/or doing to him. He says everything he said was his way of “trying to be clever”? That’s f*cked up. We’ll see if Mayer can stick to “quitting the media game” or if his issues will keep him coming back for more.
