Things are getting serious with these two.

Shia Labeouf and his girlfriend Carey Mulligan were spotted getting cozy in NYC yesterday.

Mulligan has been nominated for an Oscar for Actress in a Leading Role. I don’t expect Shia to attend the Oscars with Carey. It looks like the couple is being careful to keep their work separate from their personal lives.

Shia’s taking it a little too far with his raggedy clothes. Isn’t that the hoodie he was wearing when he got arrested at Walgreens almost 3 years ago? And the torn pants pocket?

The trailer has been releasd for the sequel to Wall Street.

I’ve read about 4 different versions of the film’s plot. I like this one best:

Set in New York City, the film takes place 20 years after the original, revolving around the 2008 stock market crash. The film’s plot mainly centers around Gekko acting as more of an anti-hero rather than a villain and follows his attempts to help Wall Street before its soon-to-be stock market crash as well as trying to repair his relationship with his daughter Winnie with the help of Jacob, Winnie’s fiance. In return, Gekko helps Jacob get revenge on the man he blames for his mentor’s death.

The film stars Michael Douglas returning as Gordon Gekko, Shia LaBeouf, Carey Mulligan, Frank Langella, Josh Brolin and more. The Douglas, LaBeouf, Brolin trio is enough to make me want to see this.

Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps will be released April 23, 2010.
